The Volvo G740VHP is a heavy-duty, high-performance motor grader engineered for professional road maintenance, construction, mining site leveling, and snow removal operations. As a classic VHP (Variable Horse Power) variant from Volvo’s legacy grader lineup, this machine delivers adaptive power output, reliable durability, and versatile working capabilities, making it a cost-effective choice for heavy-duty earthmoving and road finishing projects.
Powered by a robust Cummins M11 inline 6-cylinder turbocharged aftercooled diesel engine, the G740VHP features intelligent variable horsepower technology. It outputs 210 HP (157 kW) for low-speed precision grading tasks and automatically boosts to235 HP (175 kW) in high working gears, providing extra torque and traction for heavy-load applications including deep cutting, scarifying, and heavy snow plowing. The maximum torque reaches 1146 N·m, ensuring stable power delivery and excellent working efficiency under harsh working conditions.
